On June 3, 2024, ONCAP announced it signed a definitive agreement to sell its ownership interest in Englobe Corporation, a leading engineering and environmental services firm, to Colliers. Englobe, headquartered in Laval, Québec, provides civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering, material testing, and consulting services across various sectors. The transaction value was valued at $641.25 million (US$475 million), subject to customary closing conditions.

The sale excludes Englobe's material management and beneficial reuse (MMBR) operations in Canada, the UK, and France, which are being sold separately to a strategic buyer, with that transaction expected to close in June. Englobe has grown into one of Canada's largest engineering and environmental services firms, with a comprehensive service offering and a national footprint.

Colliers, a diversified professional services and investment management company, will acquire Englobe, further expanding its capabilities in the engineering and environmental services sector. Legal advisors for ONCAP/Englobe Corporation were Stikeman Elliott LLP, while Colliers was advised by Torys LLP.
