Miovision Technologies Inc. has acquired Global Traffic Technologies, LLC (GTT) from Vontier Corporation for approximately $147 million (US$107 million). 

GTT is a leading provider of Emergency Vehicle Preemption and Transit Signal Priority technology systems and solutions, and emerging Connected Vehicle technology. GTT’s systems manage over 90,000 vehicles and 90,000 intersections.

Vontier is a global provider of critical technologies and solutions to connect, manage, and scale the mobility ecosystem.

Based in Kitchener, Ontario, Miovision develops and maintains an intelligent traffic data collection and management platform designed to reduce traffic congestion and vehicle emissions while improving public safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Eric McCrath and Mike Krigbaum of Morrison & Foerster LLP acted as legal advisor to Vontier Corporation while William Blair & Company, L.L.C. acted as financial advisor.
