Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), a group of businesses that operates across the retail and financial services sectors, has partnered with Microsoft to use Microsoft Azure to accelerate innovation in Canada’s retail industry.

During the seven-year partnership, CTC will migrate its IT infrastructure to Azure and use the cloud platform to modernise its systems to increase the efficiency of its business operations. It will also co-innovate with Microsoft and explore how artificial intelligence and machine learning can enhance the customer experience and optimise operations for Canadian retailers.
