On November 7, 2022, Schivo successfully acquired APN Global, including its subsidiary APN Inc., to boost its presence in North America and establish a global manufacturing center of excellence in Quebec. The deal marks a significant expansion for Schivo, enhancing its capabilities in analytical instrumentation and minimally invasive surgical devices. APN Global, recognized for its proprietary AFP valves, fittings, and tubing technologies, has integrated the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, including autonomous robotics and closed-loop manufacturing.
Established in 1970 and based in Quebec, Canada, APN's 60,000-square-foot facility is well-equipped with modern engineering resources and manufacturing expertise. The acquisition promises to leverage APN's innovative technologies and manufacturing prowess across Schivo's global operations. Yves Proteau, Co-President of APN, will join Schivo as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Technology Systems, contributing his extensive experience to Schivo's leadership.
Graham Reeves, CEO of Schivo, emphasized the strategic alignment of the acquisition with Schivo's vision to penetrate high-growth markets and enhance product and technology offerings.
