On March 22, 2024, MMG Limited successfully completed the acquisition of the Khoemacau Mine in Botswana, a major transaction under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules. This strategic move was officially sealed after trading hours, significantly enhancing MMG's asset portfolio with a high-quality, transformational growth project. The transaction, valued at approximately $ (US$1,734,657,000) in aggregate consideration, also involved the advancement of approximately US$348,580,000 by MMG to settle specific debts of the target group, with potential adjustments to the consideration possible post-completion.

This acquisition marks a pivotal development in MMG's history, positioning the company for substantial growth and expansion in the mining sector. The financial transaction and legal aspects were conducted in alignment with the terms stipulated in the Agreement previously announced on November 21, 2023, with subsequent updates provided on December 27, 2023, and February 2, 2024.
