On January 11, 2022, Vendasta has completed the acquisition of MatchCraft from Advance Local. MatchCraft, a global leader in advertising solutions for digital marketing agencies, is known for its AdVantage™ platform, which specializes in managing search, display, and social media advertising for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

This acquisition integrates MatchCraft's advanced advertising technology with Vendasta's comprehensive platform, enhancing the capabilities offered to their customers. Both companies' channel partners will benefit from streamlined management of extensive advertising campaigns using a unified system that supports the marketing, sales, billing, and delivery of solutions to SMB clients.

Brendan King, CEO of Vendasta, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, emphasizing the shared technological and partnership advantages that will extend enterprise-level technology to all channel partners. Sandy Lohr, CEO of MatchCraft, highlighted the alignment of both companies' missions to empower local businesses, indicating a seamless integration of values and technology.

Founded in 1998, MatchCraft has established a significant presence with partners in 22 countries, supporting campaigns in over 20 languages. The company will maintain its operations and partnerships, with anticipated integration benefits in 2022.

This acquisition is part of Vendasta's ongoing strategy to expand its technological offerings and support its partners' growth, further demonstrated by the recent acquisition of CalendarHero. The transaction details, including the value and legal advisors involved, were not disclosed.
