Cascadia Pacific Realty sought a commission from Hon Towers Kerrisdale for their role in a land deal in Kerrisdale, Vancouver. The court ruled that Hon Towers was obligated to pay Cascadia a 3% commission on the cash portion of the transaction ($4.6 million), totaling $138,000, along with a 3% commission on the estimated construction cost for the building ($2.5 million), totaling $75,000. Additionally, Hon Towers was required to pay Cascadia a commission of $28,110 for the sale of the laneway. Further issues could be addressed by contacting the registry within 30 days.
