The application for the trademark GNR CAMPING WORLD & Design, filed by GNR Travel Centre Ltd., was for recreational vehicles and related services. CWI, Inc. opposed the application, alleging non-compliance, lack of distinctiveness, and confusion with their own trademarks. The Opposition Board determined that GNR had proven the use of the mark for goods but not for services. The confusion-based opposition was rejected, leading to a split decision where the application was refused for services but granted for goods.
