Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada v. 1730395 Alberta Ltd.
A copyright collective called SOCAN sued Silver Point Pub & Eatery in Calgary for copyright infringement. SOCAN obtained a default judgment and was awarded damages.
