The Lexpert Rising Stars for 2023 event returns this fall to celebrate lawyers 40 and under who have made outstanding contributions in their careers thus far, and registration for tables and single tickets is underway.

Winners will be revealed live at the highly anticipated awards gala on November 23, 2023, at Toronto’s Liberty Grand. The event will honour young Canadian lawyers from law firms, in-house departments, and organizations.

Earlier this year, members of the legal profession in Canada were invited to nominate qualified lawyers who have made outstanding contributions in the early part of their careers.

Lexpert’s advisory panel, comprised of esteemed leaders and experts within the legal profession, combed through the nominations to pick the winners based on the relevant criteria.

The evening promises to be a night of champagne and celebration as professionals from across the legal profession gather to honour outstanding young lawyers. This year, the awards will be hosted by acclaimed business journalist and CTV Taking Stock host, Amanda Lang. Entertainment will be provided by the Ascension Groove Band. Keynote speaker Nicole Verkindt will discuss the future of ESG – innovation and sustainability.

The event includes complimentary parking, a cocktail reception, dinner banquet and a post-party celebration.

Tables (standard and VIP) and individual seats for the event can be booked through our registration page.

Lexpert extends special thanks to innovation partner Dye & Durham and silver sponsors Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) and  LEAP Legal Software, for supporting the recognition of excellence among lawyers under 40 rising in the legal profession.
