Established in 1892 in Montreal, ROBIC specializes in intellectual property law. The firm boasts a team of about 220 support staff and professionals specializing in intellectual property and business law. IPH, an intellectual property services group, expanded into Canada in 2022 and now employs over 500 people across Canadian firms.  IPH acquired ROBIC in 2023.

“As we continue to expand our global reach and embrace our presence in Canada, it is important that we establish strong leadership in the regions in which we operate,” said Dr Blattman. “Dario is an experienced leader in the intellectual property space with deep knowledge of the business and a proven track record of excellent client service, and we are excited to welcome him to this role.”
