After many years practising employment law, Janice now acts exclusively as a third-party neutral investigator and reviewer for large institutions and organizations, including post-secondary institutions and municipal entities. She is listed in Canadian Lawyer Magazine’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers of the Year for 2023, and is repeatedly recognized by Best Lawyers. Janice has also received the Lexpert Zenith Award, the National HR Awards’ Employment Lawyer of the Year award, the Chambers and Partners awards for Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusion, and is repeatedly named in Canadian Who’s Who and Lexpert’s Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. Janice has also published numerous articles, taught employment law at Osgoode Hall Law School, and co-authored the Human Resources Guide to Workplace Investigations, Second Edition, and A Practical Guide to the Law of Termination in Ontario, Second Edition.
