Peninsula Consumer Services Co-operative (Peninsula Co-op) has agreed to purchase seven retail outlets on Vancouver Island from the owners of Liquor Express. Pushor Mitchell LLP is serving as legal counsel and KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. as the exclusive financial advisor to Peninsula Co-op. Henley & Straub LLP is serving as legal counsel to Liquor Express. The deal is expected to close in mid-September, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
